The benefits of using creams and oils that contain Magnesium are now well-established. We created this concentrated moisturiser with 20% of bioavailable Magnesium Chloride per tube, made possible using an advanced natural emulsion system. We combine this with our well known moisturising base and natural preservation system to avoid the sting that can be associated with topical Magnesium on first application. Just like our other magnificent moisturisers, it’s made with skin-loving, healthy and soothing ingredients. So in addition to delivering Magnesium, this creamy moisturiser also calms, and hydrates dry, irritable skin.

Directions: Apply to damp skin after washing, then as required. Some people may find their skin is a bit sensitive to Magnesium at first, so start with the body and work up to the face slowly. Best applied before bed, avoid open cuts, scratches or broken skin. As with all natural products, patch test for allergies before use. Store below 30˚C. If product gets into the eyes, nose or mouth, simply wash out with water.

Aqua (H₂o’s Fancy Name), Magnesium Chloride, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol (Plant-Based Emulsifying Wax), Cetearyl Glucoside, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Capric/Caprylic Triglyceride (Silky Natural Ester), Piroctone Olamine (Olamine Salt), Xanthan Gum, Sodium Gluconate, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E), Citric Acid (to balance pH).

Can you apply it all over the face and body?

You can apply our Magnesium Moisturiser all over the body. Some people may find their skin is a bit sensitive to Magnesium at first, and there’s a lot of it in this moisturiser, so start with the body and work up to the face slowly. Because of its propensity for relaxation, it’s best applied before bed, but make sure to avoid open cuts, scratches or broken skin as Magnesium can get real stingy in those spots. Steer clear of your eyes, nostrils and mouth as it can cause stinging in this area too.

How often can it be applied? How often should you use it for best results?

You can apply this moisturiser as often as you wish. Since there’s a lot of Magnesium in each tube, we recommend starting with a small amount on the body and slowly working up to the face over time. Make sure to avoid open cuts, scratches or broken skin, as well as your eyes, nostrils and mouth as Magnesium can cause stinging in those areas.

Is it safe for all ages including babies?

We would suggest using one of our moisturisers without Magnesium such as our MSM Soothing Cream or Fast Hydrating Lotion.

What type of Magnesium do you use and what percentage does it contain?

Our Magnesium Moisturiser contains 20% ionised natural elemental Magnesium Chloride in a salt electrolyte form. That works out to be 24g of Magnesium in every 120g tube, which is a whole lot more than other topical Magnesium products on the market. Magnesium Chloride is a water-soluble compound that can be extracted from salt water. Through research, this has shown to be far more optimal for absorption and skin cell uptake when compared to regular Magnesium Chloride oil.

Can it be applied on sensitive, eczema-prone skin? Or any other skin conditions?

We would suggest our Eczema Creams or Soothing Cream for already irritated skin.
