Milk Soap
Fresh Milk Cleansing Bars

MooGoo first made fresh milk soap after being told by a dermatologist that frequent showers were drying our skin and causing dry skin dermatitis or eczema. Our lifestyle meant that we had to shower often if we wished to keep our friends, so we made a better soap based on fresh milk, butters and oils. Our skin became much healthier and supple. Friends began "dropping in" for some milk soap. Many commented that they hardly need to moisturise anymore.
Now everyone seems to be making types of milk soap as it has become known to be good for skin problems. Good quality milk soap has a few differences.
MooGoo Bars Don't Crumble. Each bar of MooGoo Milk Soap is cured on wooden racks for 3 months before sale. When they are first made they are full of milk and oils, however we allow them to harden for this time extended time.
Superfatted With Cocoa Butter and Olive Oil. This means that as you wash, the moisturising oils leftover in the milk soap moisturise the skin. This is why our type is so moisturising.
Before you ask....The fresh milk does not go "off" because the saponified oils prevent bacteria. In fact, traditional soap is the best anti-bacterial wash there is.
"Won't Dry Your Skin Like Commercial Body Bars Can"
Did you know that one very common "Soap Free Beauty Bar" (can you guess?) is made from solidified detergent and soap made from animal fat, called Sodium Tallowate? And the "moisturiser" it contains is just water? A good example of marketing over substance. We invite all skeptics to feel the difference washing with good quality ingredients will make to their skin. A few cents more per wash is well worth it.
Recently I purchased a cake of your "milk soap" to treat my Keratosis Pilaris - mainly upper arms. I was amazed to find that within 2-3 days of using this product, the condition was virtually gone. I have spent a fortune over the years on expensive exfoliants and body washes that did nothing obvious for my skin
Thank you and regards. Kelly, NSW
